Autoport Terminal Operators
Autoport was constructed in cooperation with Japan’s Mitsui & Co to fulfil the need for a dedicated car terminal. The facility is capable of handling up to 400,000 vehicles per year.
Autoport is designed to be a world-class car terminal with two berths, 328m and 246m in length, enabling operation of two vessels simultaneously. The parking lot has capacity for 6,000 cars.
Located in İzmit/Kocaeli, the terminal covers 160,000 square metre and is located in the heart of the automotive industry in the Eastern and Southern Marmara Sea region. The facility is operated by an experienced, well trained and proficient team.
A software system has been specially designed for the needs and workflow of the terminal, enabling customers to instantly obtain information about the current status of vehicles and operational procedures.
The port area is monitored with security systems that meet the standards required by the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS).
